About...
...the site? to be honest it was never intended to become a site... i use it as a plaything for tinkering with CSS, HTML, CGI, and the apache web server software... if it happenes to do something usefull at the same time then all the better... and since google has crawled around the place i do get my fair share of visits even if its only online between 10PM and 10AM CST. if i ever get my absent mind together this place might actually be usefull -on pourpose- ;) ...the server (hardware)? nothing much to be said other than its ancient... kindof a 'lets see what this machine can really do' challenge to myself... its just supposed to be a router but it just so happenes it can run apache too... specs; 60Mhz Pentium (yes.. the -original- pentium... still chugging along...) 103MB RAM (10 geek points if you can figure out how i got that odd number) 3 NICs; one 3com one NE2000 clone and a belkin PCI something or other... 2 HDDs; samsung 2.1gig and quantum 800mb 1 very ancient 4x cdrom drive and a Hayes Accura V.92 external modem that you just downloaded this data through.... |
